🍓 What Is Briermere?

It’s not just a farm. It’s a fruit-forward, carb-glorious, joy-dispensing pie factory nestled on the North Fork of Long Island.

Yes, there are veggies. Yes, there are flowers.
But let’s not kid ourselves — you came for the pies.
And maybe the muffins.
Actually, the muffins are incredible. But the pies... no, the muffins... wait...

Highlights: Some great pies and even greater muffins.
No, some great muffins and even greater pies.

No, some…

Loop until your mouth waters. 😋

🥧 What’s Baking?

Everything is made from scratch, on site, with farm-fresh fruit.
No canned fillings. No shortcuts. Just fruit, flour, and probably magic.

🥇 The Pies:

Classic fruit pies 🍏🫐🍒

  • Apple, Blueberry, Raspberry, Peach, Cherry

Specialty pies 🤤

  • Raspberry-Peach (fan favorite)

  • Strawberry Rhubarb (oh yes)

  • Lemon Meringue, Coconut Meringue

  • Fresh Fruit Cream Combos (warning: these can run up to $48!)

Taste Notes:

  • Sweet? Yes.

  • Balanced? Sometimes.

  • Sophisticated? Not exactly.

  • Delicious? Absolutely.

  • Too much for 1? Maybe. But you’ll try anyway. 🐷

⚠️ Warning #1: No slices. Whole pies only. Come hungry or come with friends.
⚠️ Warning #2: These pies aren’t cheap. You’re paying for premium fruit and zero shortcuts.

🧁 The Muffins: Arguably Even Better

  • Not too sweet

  • Packed with fruit

  • Moist, flavorful, addictive

Best bets:

  • Peach: A revelation

  • Blueberry: The classic done right

  • Seasonal (Strawberry, etc.): Usually phenomenal

  • Corn: Tastes like it went to therapy and chose humility over ego

🍪 The Rest:

  • Cookies: Good. You’ll eat them. You won’t text your friends about them.

  • Jams/Jellies: Very sweet. Great for gifts. Or sugar shock.

🌻 Extras:

  • Fresh-picked veggies in season 🥕🌽

  • In-season flowers for bonus points on date day 💐

🧭 Final Thought:

Briermere is not French patisserie. It’s not Instagram-ready soufflés.
It’s rustic, honest, and wildly delicious.
It’s also Long Island summer in edible form.

If you don’t walk out holding a pie like it’s your firstborn, did you even go?

This is not fine dining. This is fun dining. And we’re not food critics. We’re just adventure pilgrims wandering from shack to country, fork in hand and joy in heart. 🥄❤️
