Frédéric Marsanne is the founder of FUNanc1al — part market analyst, part storyteller, part accidental comedian.

He is an investor, entrepreneur, producer, writer, and dealmaker with experience spanning tech, biotech, fintech, media & entertainment, and venture-building. His career has never followed a straight line — by design.

Over the years, he has:

  • built and advised new ventures from seed stage to scale

  • worked across venture capital, M&A, and complex deal-making

  • led and supported corporate mediation, conflict resolution, and turnaround efforts

  • designed innovative distribution models and revenue pipelines

  • consulted for major global organizations including Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, Computer Sciences Corporation, and Hitachi Data Systems

  • worked in environments as varied as United Nations peacekeeping, real estate brokerage in France, retail, and the airline industry

In parallel, he has remained deeply engaged in creative and artistic ventures, including writing, visual art, theater, and film — not as hobbies, but as another lens on human behavior, risk, and storytelling.

He is a Yale and Harvard graduate, holds dual American and French citizenship, is based in the United States, and is an extensive traveler — a combination that strongly informs FUNanc1al’s global, cross-disciplinary perspective.
