😴 How Much Sleep Do You Really Need? Nature Finds a 6–8 Hour Longevity Sweet Spot
A major Nature study examining 23 biological ageing clocks across the brain and body found a striking U-shaped relationship with sleep: both too little and too much were associated with faster ageing, disease and mortality. The biological sweet spots clustered around 6.4–7.8 hours. So sleep well—but perhaps don't sleep through your life.
